The Basque is an undergarment which is similar to a Victorian-era corset, but with less compression of the ribs. This modern-day Torsolette usually features lace-up or hook-and-eye fastening, and may contain boning for structure and support. They normally contain a built in bra and often features detachable garters, or suspenders.
